Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The chief financial officer position is accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results. The chief financial officer (CFO) may also take on the role of the controller as when required.

Principal accountabilities are:

Planning

  • 1. Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
  • 2. Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
  • 3. Develop financial and tax strategies
  • 4. Manage the capital request and budgeting processes
  • 5. Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction

Operations

  • 1. Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.
  • 2. Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team.
  • 3. Manage multiple departments including accounting, compliance, investor relations, tax, and treasury departments.
  • 4. Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and finance operations.
  • 5. Manage any third parties to which accounting or finance functions have been outsourced.
  • 6. Oversee the company's transaction processing systems.
  • 7. Implement finance operational best practices.
  • 8. Oversee employee benefit plans, with particular emphasis on maximizing a cost-effective benefits package.

Financial Information

  • 1. Oversee the issuance of financial information
  • 2. Personally review and approve company filings with the government entities and banks.
  • 3. Report financial results to the board of directors.

Risk Management

  • 1. Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile.
  • 2. Monitor all open financial legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the payments industry.
  • 3. Construct and monitor reliable control systems.
  • 4. Maintain appropriate insurance coverage.
  • 5. Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • 6. Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors, banks and government agencies.
  • 7. Report risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors.
  • 8. Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.

Funding

  • 1. Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts.
  • 2. Arrange for debt and equity financing.
  • 3. Invest funds if required.

Third Parties

  • 1. Participate in conference calls with the investment and banking community.
  • 2. Maintain banking relationships.
  • 3. Represent the company with SAMA, banks and investors.

Required Qualifications

The candidate should have a master's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience and 15+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large financial corporation. Should have experience in partnering with an executive team, and have a high level of written and oral communication skills in English and Arabic.

Preference will be given to candidates with an MBA in Finance and the Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations.

Preference will be given to candidates with atleast 2 years experience within the financial services industry.

Compliance Manager

The Compliance Manager position is accountable for all the compliance operations of the company. Managing a small compliance team, the compliance manager will be responsible for the Financial Security, Know Your Customer (KYC), Clients’ Interest Protection, Professional Ethics and Market Integrity.

Principal accountabilities are:

  • 1. Implementation of the target compliance models and of the Remediation plan for the Bayan Payments Ltd.
  • 2. Overall organisation of the compliance functions within Bayan Payments Ltd.
  • 3. Industrialisation of Compliance controls and validation of KYC files for onboarding and recertification of all clients.
  • 4. Carrying out KYC duties:
    • 1. Maintain and expound the KYC policies, including the merchant scoring.
    • 2. Accompany deployment of the KYC policies in businesses (e.g. advise on translation into business procedures and policies).
    • 3. Involvement in projects related to businesses.
    • 4. Define KPIs for KYC reporting.
      • i. workflow tools (e.g. definition of compliance best practices).
      • ii. Database improvements (e.g. database requirements).
      • iii. Scoring tools.
    • 5. Build reporting architecture and consolidate reporting on KYC.
    • 6. Co-validation of control plan for KYC.
  • 5. Represent Bayan Payments Ltd, internal and external with SAMA & banks.
  • 6. Link with SAMA on all compliance regulation and processes.
  • 7. Establishment of professional and serene relationships with the other Domains and Compliance Operational Perimeters.

Required Qualifications

The candidate will be dynamic with more than 10 years within the Saudi banking regulatory environment, with thorough knowledge of the KYC procedures, reporting, etc. Good knowledge of the region and the organizations, establishments and businesses. Good understanding of IT systems used in the KYC area and their integrations with the government organizations within Saudi Arabia. The candidate should be proficient in English and Arabic. With high level of computer literacy with ability to optimize use of technology for work, the candidate will have the ability to analyse, summarise and convince the internal and external team.

Chief Technology & Innovation Officer (CTIO)

The Chief Technology and Innovation Officer (CTIO) position is accountable for all the technology operations and innovation for Bayan Payments Ltd. This role is responsible for leading and managing the operations with the ownership to shape up the vision for IT support and service, develop exemplary relationships with key user groups, and deliver programs and services that exceed client expectations. This combined technology and innovation role provides the ability to think big, introduce global technologies to make the organization capable to achieve its business goals using technology effectively.

Principal accountabilities are:

  • 1. End-to-end technology management of the organization.
  • 2. Design, management, and operation of managed IT systems, digital payment gateway, digital wallet and ERP technologies.
  • 3. Product design, engineering, management, and operations to create cohesive, end-to-end digital payments solutions.
  • 4. Build data infrastructure, shaping our state-of-the-art data platform.
  • 5. Determine market and business trends to increase profits and efficiency.
  • 6. Partner with teams to design end-to-end digital payment solutions.
  • 7. Deploy and Manage hosted digital payments solutions.

Required Qualifications

The candidate should have a master's degree in Computer Science or business administration, or equivalent experience and 15+ years of leadership experience for a large company. Should have experience in partnering with executive teams, and have a high level of written and oral communication skills in English and Arabic (Arabic not mandatory).

Preference will be given to candidates with an MBA/PhD in Systems and executives from Payment processing companies, Large Banking companies, Payment gateways, or e-Commerce companies.

Key Accounts Manager (KAM)

The Key Accounts Manager role is to oversee the relationships of the company with its most important clients. Account managers will be in charge of finding new business, be assigned prospects, given accounts, or a combination thereof. You will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining long term key customer relationships by comprehending their requirements to achieve a high client satisfaction.

Bayan Payments Accounts Manager is the person in charge of managing the relationships with its key customers to grow our business. Key activities may involve, but not limited to, project management, strategic planning, negotiation, sales support, product design, service integration, logistics, and marketing.

The ideal candidate will be be apt in building strong relationships with strategic customers. You will be able to identify needs and requirements to promote BayanPay's solutions and achieve customer delight. Your overall goal is to contribute in sustaining and growing BayanPay business to achieve long-term success.

Principal accountabilities are:

  • 1. Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients, to meet the business objectives.
  • 2. Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
  • 3. Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their business objectives.
  • 4. Generate sales among client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling.
  • 5. Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
  • 6. Collaborate with other sales team members and management to reach prospective clients.
  • 7. Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams & vendors.
  • 8. Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
  • 9. Service multiple clients concurrently, often meeting deadlines.
  • 10. Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships.
  • 11. Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.

Required Qualifications

  • 1. Proven experience as Key Accounts Manager, with at least 10 years experience.
  • 2. Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs.
  • 3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with senior levels in the organization.
  • 4. Excellent organizational skills and good understanding of the digital payments technologies.
  • 5. Ability in problem-solving and negotiation.
  • 6. University Degree required, MBA preferred.
  • 7. Saudi Nationals preferred, Fluent in English & Arabic.
