Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The chief financial officer position is accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results. The chief financial officer (CFO) may also take on the role of the controller as when required.

Principal accountabilities are:

Planning

  • 1. Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
  • 2. Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
  • 3. Develop financial and tax strategies
  • 4. Manage the capital request and budgeting processes
  • 5. Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction

Operations

  • 1. Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.
  • 2. Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team.
  • 3. Manage multiple departments including accounting, compliance, investor relations, tax, and treasury departments.
  • 4. Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and finance operations.
  • 5. Manage any third parties to which accounting or finance functions have been outsourced.
  • 6. Oversee the company's transaction processing systems.
  • 7. Implement finance operational best practices.
  • 8. Oversee employee benefit plans, with particular emphasis on maximizing a cost-effective benefits package.

Financial Information

  • 1. Oversee the issuance of financial information
  • 2. Personally review and approve company filings with the government entities and banks.
  • 3. Report financial results to the board of directors.

Risk Management

  • 1. Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile.
  • 2. Monitor all open financial legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the payments industry.
  • 3. Construct and monitor reliable control systems.
  • 4. Maintain appropriate insurance coverage.
  • 5. Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • 6. Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors, banks and government agencies.
  • 7. Report risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors.
  • 8. Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.

Funding

  • 1. Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts.
  • 2. Arrange for debt and equity financing.
  • 3. Invest funds if required.

Third Parties

  • 1. Participate in conference calls with the investment and banking community.
  • 2. Maintain banking relationships.
  • 3. Represent the company with SAMA, banks and investors.

Required Qualifications

The candidate should have a master's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience and 15+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large financial corporation. Should have experience in partnering with an executive team, and have a high level of written and oral communication skills in English and Arabic.

Preference will be given to candidates with an MBA in Finance and the Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations.

Preference will be given to candidates with atleast 2 years experience within the financial services industry.

Key Accounts Manager (KAM)

The Key Accounts Manager role is to oversee the relationships of the company with its most important clients. Account managers will be in charge of finding new business, be assigned prospects, given accounts, or a combination thereof. You will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining long term key customer relationships by comprehending their requirements to achieve a high client satisfaction.

Bayan Payments Accounts Manager is the person in charge of managing the relationships with its key customers to grow our business. Key activities may involve, but not limited to, project management, strategic planning, negotiation, sales support, product design, service integration, logistics, and marketing.

The ideal candidate will be be apt in building strong relationships with strategic customers. You will be able to identify needs and requirements to promote BayanPay's solutions and achieve customer delight. Your overall goal is to contribute in sustaining and growing BayanPay business to achieve long-term success.

Principal accountabilities are:

  • 1. Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients, to meet the business objectives.
  • 2. Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
  • 3. Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their business objectives.
  • 4. Generate sales among client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling.
  • 5. Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
  • 6. Collaborate with other sales team members and management to reach prospective clients.
  • 7. Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams & vendors.
  • 8. Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
  • 9. Service multiple clients concurrently, often meeting deadlines.
  • 10. Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships.
  • 11. Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.

Required Qualifications

  • 1. Proven experience as Key Accounts Manager, with at least 10 years experience.
  • 2. Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs.
  • 3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with senior levels in the organization.
  • 4. Excellent organizational skills and good understanding of the digital payments technologies.
  • 5. Ability in problem-solving and negotiation.
  • 6. University Degree required, MBA preferred.
  • 7. Saudi Nationals preferred, Fluent in English & Arabic.

Job Description

  • * Develop thorough knowledge of the product
  • * Brings new products to market by analysing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules with IT delivery and operations teams.
  • * Determine customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
  • * Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.
  • * Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
  • * Provides marketing communication objectives.
  • * Develop and obtain product market share by working with sales teams to develop product sales strategies.
  • * Assesses product market data by calling on customers with field salespeople and evaluating sales call results.
  • * Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses; answering questions and requests.

Graduate, with Digital Banking Products experience. MBA Preferred.
Minimum 6-7 years’ experience managing digital products portfolio, preferably within financial services.

Operations Analyst, Maker/Checker

Job Description

  • * Handle, review and verify all applications for client on-boarding within available SLAs
  • * Work closely with checker to ensure an effective 2 eye 4 eye customer due diligence process
  • * Good knowledge on provisions of local and Saudi laws, directives, regulations and otherwise standards applicable to subject persons and knowledge of SAMA regulations is a strong plus
  • * Good proficiency in conducting risk assessments, periodic/trigger reviews and enhanced due diligence
  • * Monitoring and documentation of unusual activity or AML flags
  • * Establishing good relationships with various departments legal, customer service, operations and marketing to ensure good operational synergy
  • * Any general administration and ancillary activities as may be required and related to the above functions in accordance with the business requirements of the Company

  • * Hands-on design expert, taking concepts forward and working hand-in-hand with multiple teams to implement services across multiple products and solutions

  • * Champion Services Design within the organisation and work with multiple teams to design and scale BayanPay services
  • * Design for both the target user’s experience and organization’s ability to implement and scale
  • * Design and Maintain the integrity of products across platforms and the best channels to communicate something new to customers and merchants
